SUPERMOON November 2016: The Closest and Brightest since 1948 you need to see!

NASA says 2016, this month (November) the moon will be the BIGGEST it has been in 68 years. The Supermoon on the night of November 14 and 15 promises to be not only the closest but also the brightest in a long time. Humanity hasn't seen the moon look this big since 1948. The next change to do so won't be until 2034.Supermoon is when the moon is at its closest point of approach in its orbit around Earth. At this time, our satellite appears on average 14% bigger and 30% brighter.



October's supermoon occurred upon Oct. 16. The neighboring supermoon will be November's full Beaver Moon, which is traditional to admit the severity of its full phase upon the hours of daylight of Nov. 14, at 8:52 a.m. EST (1352 GMT), but it will appear full to the casual observer in the daylight back and after the main matter. It is the second of three consecutive supermoon full moons for 2016.
