Queen Gay Tarlac, City 2016 "Unprofessional And Worst Pageant Ever"

A member of LGBT Community Allysa Amurao Mendoza from Tarlac, City, and a candidate for Queen Gay Tarlac, City 2016 was pissed off to the Pageant Organizers 109.9 MEUWS Radio, a radio station in Tarlac, City.

She posted her complaint to the Organizer because of  "Unprofessional" treat not just to her but to all of the candidates who joined to the said pageant.

Ms. Mendoza said:

Ang pinaka magulo, unprofessional, walang budget at pondo, pinakapalpak, kalokohan na pageant na nangyare sa Tarlac. Ang 107.9 MEUWS RADIO ANG Organizer ng pageant na ito na pinamumunuan ni VERT LABAJO YAMIT at JANICE VENGCO.
For the information of everyone, When they advertised to us this pageant it looked like they had a clear vision of "Prestigious Pageant" or "Bonggang pageant na nakaka Mutya at Binibini" in order to uplift the views of the people towards the LGBT Community. Transgender women will be showcased Just like "Natural born women" to show that they can also compete in a "Binibini" like pageant and promote their campaign towards Anti discrimination and Gender Equality and will also be a fundraiser for the sick children that are the "beneficiary" of the said contest but sadly that is not the case.

From Day 1 there were already so many issues and controversies, The First organizer of the Pageant was Madam Armina and her husband, they were tasked to organize this pageant by the management of 107.9 MEUWS RADIO TARLAC. The promotion was a cash prize of P15,000 with a customized crown worth P30,000 that will be given to the Grand winner. The pageant was well promoted to the candidates at first but then changes happened.

We were supposed to have a practice for our production number and the meeting place was Southbase grill but then the management called saying that we should not attend the practice but instead go to the Station for an emergency meeting, half of us went there at first because the others were already at Southbase grill so dito palang nagkagulo na, dahil iba iba ang sinasabi kung saan pupunta but then we all still attended the emergency meeting and the meeting was all about the changes in the pageant, First was the termination of the First organizer which was Madam Armina and her husband because the management said that they "ruined the pageant" and "sabotaged it" and made "false promises" to the candidates said Sir Vert (the head) and Madam Janice which was quite doubtful because Madam Janice was there when Madam Armina made those statements at the first meeting and now they are claiming that she made false promises hmmm nakakapagtaka naman but theres more, The P15,000 Prize was lowered into "P12,000" and the crown would no longer be given to the winner but will rather be lended, because of the expensive value, 4th runner up was removed and gave the price of 4th runner up to Miss talent, And they said that if they are going to have a 4th runner up they will remove the consolation prize so it was either that or the 4th run. Production number was removed and Casual wear was added, The Minimum of required tickets to sell became 100 per candidate instead of 50 and they said that "Hindi namin concept ang tickets, si armina ang may concept ng tickets na yan kung ako lang walang tickets, pero we have to stick with the tickets kasi yan na ang nilabas so kailangan magbenta ng tickets" at required kami magbenta ng sims dahil sponsor ang smart which was understandable but itong tickets at sims na to ang pinaka kinagulo ng pageant na to.

The following week was supposed to be the Talent night @ Southbase Grill but on the day itself Cancel ang talent dahil nagbackout daw ang southbase sa sponsorship kesyo malakas ang ulan kahit hindi naman, kesyo bumaha, nasira ang stage etc at sabotage daw ni Ma'am armina ang talent kaya nagbackout ang southbase. Madaming nagbackout dahil sa nangyareng ito at dito na nagumpisang magkagulo ang pageant, from 20 candidates naging 16 naging 13 naging 12 dahil sa Katarasan, Unprofessional, Puro nalang remit ng tickets at pera ang palaging isssue wala na kaming ibang narinig kundi remit remit remit remit eto na ata ang QUEEN GAY REMIT 2016 Ang sabi pag di daw nagremit icacancel ang pageant kaya naman nagalit ang mga candidates at di nag attend sa SPAIL (na free spa, manicure pedicure) dahil di daw matutumbasan ng libreng spa ang pagod, pangookray, panghahassle sa mga candidates kung kaya naman sa management ng SPAIL ay humihingi po kami ng tawad. You were right on backing out your sponsorship, we didn't mean any harm we apologize but because of the haggling of the organizers just to remit the tickets at para lang bayaran na mga sims at tickets ay nagkaganyan. Yung TSHIRTS sinasabi nila na hindi daw namin binayaran kaya wala kaming karapatan magreklamo, Well nanghihingi si Janice ng 1k para iremit yung tickets na pambayad ng shirts sa mga candidates na ang sabi ay sponsored daw na hindi naman pala, so who are you to say na we didn't pay for it when infact yung pondo para sa shirts na hinihingi nyo kay miki na galing sa tickets na ang tickets na dapat para sa "charity" ay pinambayad nyo sa shirts.
 
DRY RUN FOR PAGEANT (THE DAY BEFORE)
Nasa plaza kaming lahat na candidates, Naghihintayan kami makumpleto, dumating si Madam Janice and guess what kung anong pinunta nya? REMIT daw ng Tickets at kung di iremit may consequence. THE TICKETS WERE FOR CHARITY, KUNG MAY BUDGET TALAGA GAYA NG SINASABI NINYO DAHIL "BIG COMPANY" RAW KAYO AY REGARDLESS KUNG MAY MAGREMIT O WALA MATUTULOY ANG PAGEANT DAHIL IBA ANG PONDO SA TICKETS AT PONDO NG PAGEANT DAHIL ANG TICKETS AY PARA LANG SA CHARITY AT HINDI SA MISMONG PAGEANT. The real reason is There is no Budget kundi kinukuha lamang sa tickets na dapat ay para sa "charity" daw kaya kung may budget talaga, matutuloy ang pageant regardless kung may magremit dahil for charity ang tickets hindi pondo ng pageant. Practice ng production walang coreographer, walang magtuturo ng blockings, walang speaker, wala man lang pameryenda at wala man lang nagsusupervise samin, Kami kami lang ang gumawa at nanghiram ng speakers dugo at nagcoreo, san ka nakakita ng prestigious pageant na candidates ang nagcocoreo at nagpoprovide ng music at gamit. Pero dineadma namin dahil gusto namin mapaganda ang pageant at ipresent sa mga tao dahil nakakahiya sa mga bumili ng ticket at manunuod at gusto namin maganda ang performance namin.

DAY OF THE PAGEANT ITSELF (CANCELLED/POSTPONED)
This is where we began to lose our minds, The rescheduling of the pageant. After a day of rehearsals we were all tired and we went to sleep but as soon as we open our eyes we woke up to this, We anticipated this because of all the issues that is happening. Of course we got mad, that's normal, we exerted a lot of effort, many people cancelled their appointments just to watch. Kung ano ano sinabi samin sa GC we received so much shit from them sa GC kesyo nagmamagaling daw kami. Were your CANDIDATES not your EMPLOYEES, You do not have the right to do that to us at walang pinirmahan na kontrata!
