This Flower Shop Offers 'FUNERAL' Theme For Valentines Day

With all the merchants vying for people's attention in the region of Valentine's Day, one flower shop settled to think out of the crate. (Or should we say, "out of the box?")

A floral shop in Market! (Bonifacio Global City, Taguig) called Saint Jo Flowers came up with a Valentine's Day offer with the agency Y&R Philippines, where they send flowers arranged as if they were for a wake or funeral.

The promo tagline is "Pamatay na Valentine's Flowers." Rough translation: "Killer Valentine Flowers."

The flower arrangement also come with a sash bearing humurous declarations of love such as "Patay na patay ako sa'yo (I die for you)," "Nakakamatay ang ganda mo (Your beauty slays me)," and "I'm dying to date you."





Saint Jo Flowers announced the promo on February 11 and the post has gone viral. As of 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13, it has been shared 7,299 times and has received over 2,500 comments.

Based on the people's reactions, we have confirmed that twisted humor is alive and well among Pinoys.
