Two people were injured after a dump truck crashed into a Jeepney along Mc Arthur Highway near La Maja Rica Hotel at Brgy. (Village) Ligtasan, Tarlac City.

The driver and a passenger were injured after they crashed into each other.
Motorists and residents tried to pull the truck away while waiting for rescuers, who arrived after a few minutes.

Tarlac City  Search and Rescue personnel used hydraulic equipment to pull the victims out of the truck.

The victims had yet to be identified as of this writing.

According to investigators, the driver might have been speeding, which caused him to lose control of the truck.

The victims were brought to Tarlac Provincial Hospital.
